The Outstanding Blogger Award

I was nominated for The Outstanding Blogger Award by the lovely Naemi, A Book Owl’s Corner and she has some fun questions for me so let’s get to it!

The rules:

  • Link to the original award post
  • Answer the questions provided
  • Create 7 unique questions
  • Nominate 10 bloggers. Ensure that they are aware of their nomination. Neither the award’s creator, nor the blogger that nominated you, can be nominated.
  • At the end of 2020, every blog that ping-backs the creator’s original post will be entered to win the 2020 Outstanding Blogger Award!

Naemi’s Questions

Question 1: You get tasked with creating a required reading list for your country’s national curriculum. Which book would you add first, and why?

This question is the one I answered last, it was really hard because I didn’t know what to choose but I think it has to be this book.

This is my favourite book (many of you may know this) but that’s not the reason I’m choosing this book! I’m choosing it because while it may not be for everyone, it will make you feel something and it’s probably something you don’t want to feel and it will make you think about people and life and situations and how twisted all of that can make someone. It’s a great book, 10/10 recommend!

Question 2: What do you most look forward to doing when the pandemic is over?
Going to Taiwan!!!
I am self learning traditional Chinese and really want to go to a language school in Taiwan to be able to learn the language there and with a teacher so I can get feedback on how my Chinese is. I really want to be there right now.

Question 3: If you desperately needed warmth and only had books on hand, which one would you sacrifice to light a fire?
Illuminae, I did not like that book, I did finish it though because I did like AIDAN and the infected but they got so little time that it just wasn’t that great for me.

Question 4: Which really cool skill would you love to master one day?
Swordsmanship. I think it always looks so beautiful, powerful and somehow peaceful.

Question 5: Name a book you haven’t read yet but are really excited for!

I did mention this book not too long ago and I have finally ordered it! I will soon be able to read this beautiful thing and I have no clue how I’d review such a book but I will try or at least have a “book talk” and pass it off as a review.

Question 6: If you could travel back to one point in time, when and where would you go?
I love history and have so many times I would like to go back to for like a day and hope I don’t get killed but I don’t know which one to choose because I’d probably be murdered in all of them.

Question 7: What’s an interesting fact about you that many of your followers probably don’t know?
Some of you will know this from my home/about page but some of you will have went straight to this post and not seen that so I’ll say this here, I’m Autistic!

For those who knew that and want something else/new, you might have guessed it from the book I just mentioned but my dream job is to be a mortician!

I don’t really have 10 people to nominate, I do have 3 bloggers I really love and enjoy reading their posts but I don’t think either do tags so I’m not really expecting them to answer the questions but I am, sort of, expecting you all to go and show them some love because they’re really good and definitely deserve it!
People I Nominate:

My Questions:

Question 1: If you could take the place of a character in a book but not because you love them, choose someone who you were so annoyed by their actions you want to change what they did. Which one would it be?
Question 2: Do you prefer to read indoors or outdoors?
Question 3: If you could have a magical creature as a pet, which one would it be?
Question 4: Is there a villain you think you could be better (more of a villain) than?
Question 5: What’s scarier supernatural horrors or psychological horrors?
Question 6: Which book is your “comfort food”?
Question 7: How well do you think you would do in a zombie apocalypse?

That’s all for today’s post! I hope you liked it and let me know some of your answers to these questions, do you have the same answers as me for any? 🍓

  1. I loved your answers! And I’d love to see post-pandemic blog posts about your language learning experiences in Taiwan, so fingers crossed that works out! 🤗
